Policy Statements
Austin Cycling Association Mission Statement
The Austin Cycling Association (ACA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in existence for 24 years. The ACA is dedicated to furthering bicycle access, safety, education, and enjoyment in Central Texas by sponsoring weekly bike rides, training, informational programs and an annual charity bike ride; the Armadillo Hill Country Classic (AHCC). The AHCC benefits bicycle safety education and free helmets for kids.
Membership is open to adults and families, and includes a one-year subscription to Cycling News, access to online ride maps and free classified ads. Allow four to six weeks for your first issue of CN.
Map access is granted only after a member actively requests access via the Secure Area Control Panel. You'll receive an email if you give us the correct address. Click on the link in the email message and wait for us to check your membership. You'll receive another email after you've been verified.
General meetings (open to the public) are held on the second Monday of each month at a location specified on the ACA ride page of Cycling News and elsewhere on this web site.
We may be reached at: Austin Cycling AssociationP.O. Box 5993
Austin, TX 78763
Privacy Statement
- ACA asks for your e-mail address and uses it for the following:
- For delivery via e-mail of your secure Map User login and password.
- As a web-query term (to verify it's you) if you forget your password and to serve as part of your secure login.
- We might even email you - for ACA club communication only - not to sell you some crap!
- Maybe we'll e-mail you to let you know someone is trying to ban bikes somewhere in Texas or that your membership has expired, good reasons like that.
- We do not sell or distribute your email address to email marketers.
