ADVOCACY ORGANIZATIONS
- League of American Bicyclists - LAB (used to be the League of American Wheelmen) invented bike advocacy before the age of the automobile, about a hundred years ago, to lobby for paved roads. We're affiliated because we ride bikes too. Check it out.
- Adventure Cycling - Cycle Touring mostly but more than just a source for cross-country tour maps, excellent magazine, equipment reviews, technique, advocacy.
- Texas Bicycle Coalition TBC is manning the front lines for you, dear cyclists. If it wasn't for TBC you wouldn't be legal riding on those farm market roads, dear Texans.
- Yellow Bike Project of Austin - A hands-on opportunity to make the world a better place with bicycles.
- Houston Area Bicycle Alliance The folks who organize the annual Moonlight Ramble and try to keep Houston bikable.

- CAMPO Capitol Area Metropolitan Planning Organization - These guys give TXDOT the blessing to spend federal tax dollars to build our local highways - Maybe they ought to plan things a little better with us in mind. - Go to a public hearing and be heard.
- City of Austin Bicycle - Pedestrian Program . That's what it says on the door. Not much happening on this web page, but it's ours.
- Charolette DOT Bicycle Program . - Cooler than it sounds. A nicely done set of bike advocacy pages.
- Comal County Trails Inc. Building a vision of Hike & Bike Trails in the New Braunfels area. Excellent Bike Links on links page.
- Texas Statutes Online What are your rights on the road and just about anything else you might want to know? Don't ask Joe Blow! Find out for yourself right here at the source.
