Dan's Pain Ride And Bbq!
10/02 (Sat) 8:30am B-4 75 mi
Well, the Hügel is fast approaching, so I figure it's time to step up the hills.  And what better way to do that than to ride our legs off then immediately stuff our faces with pulled pork sandwiches and beer (gotta get some recovery protein and carbs right?)

So here's the plan: The route will be about 75 miles divided into 3 loops, all of which will have plenty of hills - It's not quite Hügel, but it's getting there.  We will use my house as the start/end/rest stops.  This way you can bring whatever supplies you need and we have easy access to ice, water, and bathrooms.  You're probably wondering where the route is going to go...  All I can say is: www.youtube.com/watch

For the BBQ, I will smoke up some pork butt which makes some darn good sandwiches.  As far as sides go, I'm hoping maybe a few people will volunteer to bring some, and if not, I'm sure I'll make something (think potato and hammer).  Bring your own beer or beverage of choice.  I'm limiting the number of people for the BBQ, so first come first serve.

If you're going to participate in the BBQ, I need to know by Wednesday September 29, so I can make sure I have enough pork - so email me!

Because my house is serving as home base, I'm not going to publish my address.  Whether or not you want in on the BBQ, you will still need to email me to get the address.
